Gratitude and Love

"It is there, in the garden, as part of the garden, with no mental or physical boundary between myself and the plants that I can send out my love to the people I care about, first gratitude, and then love. There is no way to verify if there is a divine Someone who listens to our prayers, and if the good (and bad) things that happen to us and to others are the answers to our prayers, but that matters little if our prayer is to send out gratitude and love. We are not asking for something for ourselves. We are sending out for others two of the most precious and powerful energies into the cosmos—gratitude and love."
